Završen GastroFest Art Piknik u Bečeju - Tri dana muzike, umetnosti, filma i gastronomije
GastroFest Art Picnic Concludes in Bečej - Three Days of Music, Art, Film and Gastronomy
Last weekend, Bečej hosted the unique GastroFest Art Picnic festival, bringing together lovers of music, art, film and fine gastronomy in Goranski Park. Over the course of three festival days, visitors enjoyed numerous concerts, open-air film screenings, art programs, food and wine tastings, as well as activities designed for the youngest guests.
This new, expanded edition of the festival introduced a richer program and a concept that combined various art forms with gastronomy, transforming Goranski Park into a space for gathering, creativity and enjoyment for all generations.
“This year, we slightly changed the concept and expanded the festival to three days, which is why we added the name Art Picnic, as there is much more art involved. In our interpretation, gastronomy and winemaking are forms of art as well, but we wanted to offer not only food and drinks, but also plenty of music, visual arts and film, so that this fusion of all senses could grow into a true Art Picnic,” said one of the festival organizers, Miloš Ignjatović.
On the first day, visitors enjoyed open-air film screenings, the opening of an exhibition created through the international Parks4All artist residency program, and a presentation of wines from wineries across the Carpathian Basin.
The second day brought a rich program for children, circus performances, workshops, a dinner in the park, and concerts by Kanda, Kodža i Nebojša, E-Play, Sin Seekas and Hungary’s Rajko Orchestra, attracting a large audience and creating the atmosphere of a true open-air music picnic.
The final day was dedicated to families, gastronomy and enjoying nature. Visitors had the opportunity to taste products from small regional producers, participate in workshops and enjoy a full day of music, rounding off the three-day festival experience.
The festival was organized through the collaboration of the international Parks4All project and the GastroFest event, with the aim of turning public green spaces into places of culture, creativity and community connection. Free admission and a diverse program attracted a large number of visitors from Bečej, Vojvodina and the wider region, confirming that GastroFest Art Picnic successfully combines contemporary culture, local tradition and outstanding gastronomy into a unique festival experience.
